Most of these male threaded valves have an expandable washer that enables them to fit non wooden containers, are food grade and can be used for alimentary applications such as Wine, Vinegar, Kombucha Tea (only stainless steel taps) Whiskey, Beer, Cider, Olive Oil, Juices, Water, Alcoholic and Non Alchoholic Beverages dispensing. Besides Home use these miniature, small taps can be used for other Kitchen Infusions and other Alimentary and Food Grade Applications.

The ATB , TBG01 Range, ATS Range, TSS03 Range and BSS05 Range of Spouts that have a thick, wide silicone washer can be inserted from the outside whilst the TSS02 would require to have a hand inserted into the ontainer to fit the backnut. Having said that, the taps with 'thick silicone' washers can also be made to get fixed from the inside of the jar the normal way - ie: with a back nut fitted from the inside of the container.

This tap requires a back nut to be fitted therefore it is important to be able to instert a hand inside the container.

BSS05 Dispensers [ 3/8", 1/2" and Taper Threaded Stainless Steel Taps ] for Larger Apothecary and Wooden Barrels Installation. Container needs a opening to insert one's hand to fit the required back nut to the tap thread.
